A starter kit should fit how you actually get ready. You do not need every makeup category to begin. This is an original budget-planning guide, not a tested-product ranking.
Choose two priorities.
For an everyday colour-focused kit, consider one lip colour and one eye or brow product you know how to use. If your priority is a complexion product, spend time checking the shade and finish before buying anything else.
Leave room for delivery.
Swatch before you commit.
Look at multiple shade references in natural light, allowing for camera and screen differences. Check hygienic tester availability in store where possible. Do not assume a product will look the same on every skin tone.
Read the return conditions.
Opened cosmetics may not be returnable. Confirm the shade code, seal, expiry, quantity and seller before paying. Compare final cart totals rather than a percentage-off banner.
